Day 5 - Photos
Photo time!!! But not so many this time since I’m really quite tired and most of the photos that I took today were of wats and ruins that look quite the same. So I’ll just show you some of the more interesting ones.
This is us in the 3rd class non-airconditioned section of the train. Hot, dusty, musty and dirty it was. But I guess you get what you pay for (20 baht). Point of interest: The Thai are totally not scared on onrushing trains at all. We saw people eating at foodstalls, playing games and chatting with each other in the spaces between the tracks.
Ah this was quite amazing. I’ve no idea how the head got entangled in the roots of the tree.
This is for the more militarily inclined. These Thai combat boots appear to be made of thinner leather and have thinner soles.
This was the grandest wat we’ve viewed. The architecture draws inspiration from Cambodian sources, unlike all the previous ones.
Argh no more time. Sorry for rushing to post.
